Angelina Mirabella received her master of arts in English (creative writing) from Florida State University in 2003. Her work has appeared in The Southern Review, the Mid-American Review, and The Greensboro Review. In 2007, she attended the Sewanee Writers' Conference as a Tennessee Williams scholar. Her debut novel, The Sweetheart, was published by Simon and Schuster in 2015 and longlisted for The Center for Fiction First Novel Prize and the Crook's Corner Book Prize. She was also named one of 12 Debut Authors Worth Reading by The Reading Room. She lives in Ithaca, NY with her husband and two daughters.
